The design was originally was part of a collection at a Swedish glass factory in Småland designed by Tove, honoring Karl-Oskar & Kristina; the characters in Vilhelm Moberg’s books about Swedish emigration to America. The image of the couple is made by sifting colored sand through a stencil, then rolling hot glass over it, picking up the design (as pictured).
Dimensions: Roughly 9” tall with a 4” diameter.
