On the ArtsRiot Stage: The talented teen singers from the Opera Company of Middlebury’s Youth Opera Company will delight audiences with songs and opera scenes in Italian from their fabulous recent production of A Country Store Opera. Music by composers such as Donizetti, Rossini, Cimarosa, Wolf-Ferrari and even Gilbert & Sullivan will be accompanied by renowned pianist Mary Jane Austin. YOC founder Sarah Cullins will guide audiences on this musical trip through Italy!

By the AO Glass furnace: Glass blowing demonstration by Maestro Rich Arentzen and the AO team making Italian wine glasses -  a celebration of what fire and sand can be transformed to by skill, drive, and imagination! You will learn the origin of the Venetian style wine glasses and watch how these thin-walled and blown-stemmed fragile pieces of beauty are created from 2,1000ºF molten glass.

The excitement of Burlington being a viewing place for the total Solar Eclipse inspired us to create an exclusive opportunity for everyone to be part of creating their own Solar Eclipse Sun Catcher.

Come in Saturday April 6 between 11 and 3 to stamp your own Sun Catcher in 2,100ºF molten glass. Your piece can be picked up on Sunday April 7. Cost $35 per piece.

It's that time of year! Maple Open House Weekend is one of the premier Vermont events. Every spring, out-of-state visitors and locals alike has the opportunity to see, taste and experience a wide variety of sugar houses and maple promotions throughout the state. Come celebrate the exhibit of 15 plus years of AO Glass, and. Arentzen and Ohlander working together. At Frog Hollow at 85 Church St. downtown Burlington VT. 3-5pm. Refreshments are served and the AO Glass artists are present. We look forward to see you!

The show is up until end of March.

Between 4-7 pm we invite you to come sign up to make your own stamped ornament at our glass factory on 416 Pine St. There are lots of different designs available, choose between a snowflake, a snowman, a heart, the whale tails, a bike, and more. Kids are welcome to participate with an adult. It cost $25 per ornament and you can pick it up the next day.

This Saturday we plan for a Tent Sale on Pine Street and you’ll be able to find samples priced at 30%.

For AO Glass we have a mix of samples, some mishaps, and some just slightly imperfect items from our classic glass ware collection. We also have some new products inside, and you can get custom engraving done on any of our glass products.

For tove wear we have some larger sizes in the red stitched short & long maker skirt, some grey chambray pieces with grey stitching, and some regular short aprons. Most of all we are fully stocked with Batch 9, which means everything is in-stock! 4 styles, 6 sizes, and 5 fabrics.
