A classic Burlington, VT landmark. “Reverence” was an installation created by Jim Sardonis in 1989. The two tails retreating into earth both represent the harmony and fragility of the planet. In 2019, an additional installation was made, and the “Whale Tails” can be found off of I-89 in Randolph, and Williston, Vermont.
